School Impact fee in the City of Fremont is $4,.91 per square foot and is applicable on all additions or ADUs that meet or exceed 500 square feet.
For Example, if you are adding 634 square feet, you will pay Fremont Unified School District $3,112.94 ( 634 x 4.91) . If you add 495 square fee, you pay nothing.
It is difficult to guesstimate permit fees as they are based on the valuation of the job , and the amount of time the inspector spends during inspections etc, those costs do need to be determined though.
